ZTE a 35 .dark screen solution

If you hold a flashlight up to the screen at an angle in a dark room, can you make out an image on the screen? If so, that would indicate that the backlight has failed. Although there are a few cases where it turns out to be a fuse or motherboard problem, most of the time replacing the screen will resolve the issue.

Do you ever see a normal image, for instance when it's first powered on and shows the ZTE logo? But then you get the dark image when it finishes booting? If that happens, it's more likely to be a problem with the ambient light sensor or possibly the proximity sensor.

If you never see an image at all but there are other indications the phone is on such as vibrating when you plug in the charger or ringing when you call it, then it's probably a failed screen. For either this situation or a failed backlight, you would replace the screen. The recommended method is to purchase the screen already attached to the midframe, then transfer the internal parts from your original phone to the replacement screen+frame assembly.
