If the lid is actually popping back up while it’s brewing a K-Cup, I’d check the lid latch and pod holder first.
Make sure the pod is sitting flat and the holder is fully snapped into place. Also check the upper and lower puncture needles for a clogged coffee pod or buildup. If the lid only pops up when pressure starts building, the latch may be worn or cracked.
I wouldn’t keep forcing it shut while brewing since there can be hot water and pressure involved.
If it closes and stays locked when you run a cycle without a pod, that would be a useful clue that the problem is with the pod holder/needle rather than the lid itself.
