Generally you have to wipe the phone back to factory settings to clear a screen lock. When you do that, however, if the phone is associated with a Google account then you will need the original email and password used in order to complete the reset process.

If you don't have that information, you will have to figure out how to bypass the Android FRP (Factory Reset Protection). Finding how to do that is up to you, as iFixit is a hardware repair-oriented forum and doesn't specialize in software issues like that. There are also moral implications that we don't care to be involved with, such as the idea that you might be trying to break into a phone that isn't yours and we wouldn't want to help with something like that. I'm not saying that's the case for you, but we have no way of knowing and prefer to err on the side of safety.
