looping on powered by android logo

today the power button got pretty hot so i turned my phone off for it to cool down. when i turned it back on, it started looping on the little powered by android screen right at the start of the boot up. it tries to move over to the next screen seemingly fails and a few seconds later vibrates again and starts to boot up, before failing and repeating. power button does nothing, no matter how long i press it for. it was working fine before that and even tho i dont shut off my phone often, last time a few weeks ago it handled it just fine. admittedly my phone has taken some damage before, so it may be a cable physically loose or something, i drop my phone a lot because i have tics so its been repaired a lot (a few months ago i had to superglue one of the antenna cables down on the motherboard side because the socket for the cable came loose for example), but i dont know why it didnt behave noticably worse before turning off already if thats the case, i didnt drop it today.
