The only reliable way of removing the simlock is through your carrier / original owner.
Anyway, we at iFixit are a hardware and components repair group and not as much for software or firmware issues nor forgotten passwords. I'd recommend you to contact the carrier, or original owner. Otherwise looking at other places for software related issues.
