Is Type C Mod Possible

I've had enough of carrying around 2 different types of cables and the Lightning charging port on my iPhone 6s recently stopped functioning, so I was wondering whether I can mod a Type-C charging port onto it. I have some experience on microsoldering but have no idea whether it would work. Can anyone tell me whether this is doable?

it probably is possible but there isnt much information about how to go about doing the mod, if your fed up of carrying 2 cables then i would suggest getting a usbc to lightning adaptor
