Hi @kathy21141

As you mentioned replacing the tipm, I assume that the air con is in a motor vehicle.

If this is correct, what is the make, model and year of the vehicle?

Does the blower motor work when you turn on the air con?

Can you hear the compressor clutch operate when you turn on the air con - with the engine idling there should be a clunk sound as an electric clutch engages the compressor pulley so that the serpentine belt turns the compressor?

If the A/C stopped working right after replacing the TIPM, the issue is likely related to power, programming, or communication rather than the refrigerant charge itself.

A few things to check:

  • Make sure the new TIPM is the correct part number and properly programmed for the vehicle
  • Check all A/C-related fuses again, even if they look good visually
  • Verify the compressor clutch is getting power when the A/C is turned on
  • Scan for trouble codes because some TIPM replacements can trigger communication or sensor issues
  • Check the pressure switch and A/C compressor connector for loose wiring during the repair
  • If the radiator fan is not coming on, the A/C may also stay disabled

Since you already replaced the relay and confirmed the system is charged, I would focus on electrical diagnosis next. A multimeter or scan tool will help much more than replacing more parts randomly.
