Problems with making calls

I had an iPhone 13 previously used and it set in the box for about a year and I decided to use it again I activated via eSIM and now when I make calls it’s constantly breaking up when making calls I contacted my carrier and they say it is an issue with the phone not an issue on their end what can I do to fix this I’ve tried resetting and resetting carrier setting with no change.

Hi @kylej54619

Does the problem still occur if you connect a known working, compatible charger to the phone and then make/receive calls?

It does it every time it even does it when connected to WiFi with WiFi calling on it does it when connected to 5g or LTE

@kylej54619

Does the person you call say that you're voice is breaking up when on a call or is it OK?

Just wondering if it is a reception or transmission problem. Does it happen when using the phone in loudspeaker (aka hands free) mode?

Yes when talking to literally anyone it will just be quiet sometimes like I’m not speaking when I am

or they will hear bits and pieces of me talking then sometimes it will go for a while and everything will be heard just fine

I can literally be in town with full service 5g and it will happen
