Issue with my Bluetooth headset

I am having an issue with my Bluetooth headset and I’m not sure what’s going on.

It connects to my phone, but the audio is very inconsistent. Sometimes calls work fine, but other times I either get no sound at all or the audio switches back to the phone speaker even though the headset still shows as connected.

It also feels pretty random, it can work one moment and stop the next without me changing anything.

Has anyone experienced something like this or knows what could be causing it?
