A gaming PC is a personal computer specifically designed and optimized for playing video games.

Random half-crashes, completely random

My pc keeps crashing, like in the title, not a full windows bluescreen, the display cuts out, the screens go black, then the display comes back and whatever game I was playing closes, and sometimes one of my monitors shuts off because its not getting a signal and I have to restart my pc to get both monitors back on, system specs below:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500, overclocked

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB

RAM: 16GB Ram, 3600 MT/S

PSU: 750 Watt MSI mag A750GL

OS: Windows 11 pro

SSD: Kingston SNV3S1000G 1TB

HDD: Two HDD one terabyte drives, not sure on the models

Motherboard: GIGABYTE A520M SH2

Hi @idk34101

Have you checked in Device Manager, that the latest video drivers for the GPU are installed?

Yeah, updated all my drivers and it's still doing it

@idk34101

Does it do it with only one monitor connected to the GPU card?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

@jayeff Yeah, doesn't matter what I plug in

@idk34101

if it only occurs when playing games and not when just browsing the web, try downloading this standalone memory program to a USB drive to check if the memory is OK.

The beauty of this program is that it doesn't rely on Windows being loaded for it to run.

It is a bootable program so that the PC will boot from it if you change the boot order on startup to make USB as the first boot option and not Windows on the C drive.

Note The official Memtest86 website was down when I went looking for the program (Easter holidays perhaps)

@jayeff No, it happens completely randomly, web browsing, gaming, even sitting idle
