If your laptop screen is very dim or unclear even at 100% brightness, the issue is likely hardware-related. Since it displays fine on a projector, your GPU is working. Common causes include a faulty backlight, damaged LCD panel, or loose display cable. First, restart and check brightness using keyboard shortcuts. Update display drivers to rule out software issues.
