Hi Anthony,
Where did you purchase the battery from? If it wasn't an OEM part or made by a reputible manufacturer, it may be lacking some of the necessary sensors for determining percentages properly.
However, there is a quick fix that may work that you can try:
- Charge your battery for a long period (overnight) so that it fully charges and then some. Ideally, do this when the phone is turned off.
- Turn the phone on and use your device until the battery is completely drained and shuts off on its own (I would reccommend turning the screen off time to never and running a very long video with sound to speed this process up)
- Plug your phone back into the charger and charge your battery to 100%. It is very important not to interuppt the charging process, so I'd probably leave the phone unattende overnight.
If this does not calibrate the battery properly, unfrotunately, the best option is probably to purchase a new battery. You can get an OEM battery from Google on the iFixit shop website: Google Pixel 8 Pro Battery - Genuine
