How to replace the sleep/wake button?

I recently broke my new iPod nano 6th generation's sleep/wake button by dropping it on the ground.now it's not working. it doesn't click,it's stuck.how can i fix this?

iFixit has a replacement guide for the sleep/wake button, which involves replacing the headphone jack assembly.

Unfortunately iFixit doesn't sell the assembly itself, but you can source the replacement part from elsewhere on the Internet or from repair stores.
