Have a WRF540CWBM00 and we noticed the freezer not staying cold and ice maker not working turned the ice maker off and freezer started cooling installed new ice maker and turned it on and freezer started heating up again now the freezer only gets to around 5 degrees and setpoint is -4 refrigerator stays at set point

Is the compressor running nearly continually trying to drive the temperature in the freezer down to the set temperature?

Follow the procedure to initiate the Service Test mode and perform Service Test #142 - Freezer thermister and check. Also Service test #152 - Freezer food door state, just to confirm that the door is closed.
