Hi!
Yes it seems that you can upgrade your processor (here is a link to the CPU removal and installation page 3-42)! You would need to follow the listed prerequisites in order to access remove and upgrade the processor.
The beginning of the service manual lists different processors specifications at page 1-24 for your laptop model.
