Battery connection pods on board

I have accidentally removed the pod on the pcb board of the iPod. It's the one in the middle. Does someone have a diagram of what each of those pods do and a possible fix? Thank you! Ps- I still have the removed pod. Any ideas?

Chris, I assume you are talking about the solder pads?

chris, if you are talking about the solder pads, take a look at the attached image. It is from a 3rd gen but should still be the same. If your pad came of the board, it can be tricky to repair it again. Take a look at this video. Decent tutorial and it might help you to see what you are up against. If you have difficulty soldering etc, then you could try something like this epoxy.

While the information provided is good the solder points are different on the 3rd gen.
