Dishwasher not connected to WiFi

All of a sudden, when I tried to run the dishwasher last night, it's telling me that it's not connected to my WiFi (my WiFi was fine). I need this fixed.

Bosch dishwashers lose WiFi connection pretty easily when the Home Connect module gets stuck or the router assigns a new IP address. Since your home WiFi is fine, the issue is almost always inside the dishwasher’s WiFi module.

Try these steps in order:

1. Power-cycle the dishwasher completely

Turn it off, then flip the breaker for 2–3 minutes.

This resets the Home Connect board (much more effective than just turning the machine off).

2. Reconnect through the Home Connect app

Open the app → go to Settings → WiFi → “Reconnect appliance”.

Sometimes the dishwasher simply drops its saved network.

3. Check if your router switched bands

Bosch will NOT connect to 5GHz.

Make sure your 2.4GHz network is still active and hasn’t been renamed.

4. Check signal strength

If the router was moved or a new device added, weak signal can cause instant disconnects.

If none of this works:

The WiFi/Home-Connect module inside the door is likely frozen or failing.

They do go bad, even on newer models.

I can walk you through the module reset procedure if you want.
