Can I fix a dead pixel?

There is a small diagonal line of 3 or 4 black pixels on my TV. Just wondering if I can go about fixing it in some way before I have to contact Samsung support for this Samsung 4K TV, model code: QN55Q72DDFXZA.

@kevinchan76452 we will have to see what this looks like. Usually you can't fix individual pixel failure. Also, a certain amount of failed pixels is actually considered normal by the manufacturers no matter how irritating those are to use, the end user.

Gotcha. Yeah, wish I could upload a picture of the screen here, but it's a tiny black speck somewhat to the left of the screen (my left as I face the TV). It's barely noticeable as you watch a movie or show, but it's quite visible if I look intently, added to the fact that I now know that it's there. Guess, I'll have to contact Samsung.

@kevinchan76452 let's hope they agree with you and replace the display under warranty. Most of the time they will call this a minor acceptable blemish :-(

Hopefully. I'm considering just leaving it alone since it's a small blemish. But yeah, I've seen a few complaints about customers being told that even a small blemish isn't grounds for a replacement or fix under warranty :/
