Keyboard light stopped working

I need to know how to get my keyboards key lights to start working again. I believe its in the physical functionality itself as ive checked all software and settings.

Hi!

This may differ from one Lenovo model to another.

In my case, Keyboard backlight can be changed in the Lenovo Vantage application. In Device Settings > Input > Keyboard backlight brightness. There I can change between low, high and off in terms of brightness level.

The hotkey combination in my case is FN + space to change between the different brightness modes.

Hope this helps,

Cheers

Thank you for responding. However, I received more information on what happened when the keyboard backlight stopped working. One of my teen aged boys admitted to dropping something heavy on the keyboard. I suspect the problem is more of a physical nature at this point. Thank you for your response, though
