Was the battery disconnected from the motherboard when the EDP (video) cables were being replaced?

Check if there's voltage on pin 1-3 of the EDP cable connector on the motherboard.

If there's no voltage check if motherboard fuse # FG3301 (3A_32V_ERBRD3R00X) is OK and not blown.

Here is a composite image showing the backlight power supply circuit that may help.
