MacBook Pro 14" replace speaker without disconnecting the battery
Macbook Pro 14" M3 Max left speaker is crackling. I saw in the guide that I have to disconnect trackpad cable and battery cabels etc, so basically the disconnect battery before replacing the speaker.
Can I replace it without disconnecting it? I always use non metalic tools to disconnect cables, so I'm not afraid about shorting something on the logic board during the process(I assume thats why it should be disconnected).
Is there any other reason beside that? I don't want to spend more time on disconnecting it than replacing the speaker if I don't have to :D
