Officially the answer is "NO" because they ARE soldered in place. Here is a link to a discussion on this topic, however, and it seems, Yes it is possible, perhaps one of the folks who does this sort of thing professionally can give a better answer, it seems there is more to it than just replacing the memory with the compatible puppies, though... the link:

@zivameyer you will also need to update and flash the BIOS otherwise your computer will not boot up with a change in memory. The soldering of the memory module will require a proper rework station.
