LCD panel removable from the shell?

Do you know if the actual LCD panel is removable from the top case, or is it glued inside like the MacBook Air?

It seems to me like a hybrid between the heat-gun approach from the Unibody MacBook Pro and the don't-go-there-unless-it's-broken separation of LCD and backlight that comes from the Air. What do you think?

I'm gonna buy one tomorrow and will try to find out.. Any pointers on how to do so without ruining this hyper-expensive screen?

Nope, glued.

Also it includes a crapton of other stuff that's all right in with it.

Ps, how do you know about the crapton? :)

It's all in the teardown I linked in my answer.

Oof.. Did you succeed in removing it without breaking the LCD?
