1. Turn your off.
2. Press and hold the Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously until VIVO FASTBOOT appears.
3. Use the Volume buttons to scroll and select "Recovery mode", then press the Power button to confirm.
4. Use the Volume buttons again to select 'Wipe data', and press the Power button to select it. Depending on the the model, you may see "Clear Data," or "Wipe data/factory reset" instead.
5. Use the Volume and Power buttons to choose and select 'Wipe data' or 'Clear all data'
6. The phone will reset, and all your data will be erased PERMANENTLY.
7. Select Reboot system now when you see a message that the factory reset is complete.
Now, you must set the phone up again.
If you factory reset it with a Google account signed in, Factory Reset Protection (FRP) is triggered!
You MUST log in to the same Google account to reactivate the device, this is a safety feature to keep a thief from simply resetting you phone...

does not fix it, when you're in the wipe data portion, it still asks for password. Android phones with OS 12 up, have a security patch, very hard to bypass
Probably you need to seek elsewhere then I don't know of another approach and the site is really meant for hardware issues involving repairs... sorry.
