Charging connector has evacuated from the board

I went to disconnect the battery and the connector just came away from the board. Is this just a case of get out the heat gun and solder it back on? Because when I look at the plastic connector I don't see anything that the pins from the board will attach to, the thin wires that run down the back side look to be missing. Nothing I noticed had flown away or appears torn off from the board, picture is taken immediately after the connector departed...... But there are what looks like thin wires that would attach from the connector to the board all bent up on the board side. Clean that up and then replace with another connector from a donor? Temperature required?

My guess is that this requires a 'Northridgefix' style repair to attach some thin wires to the connector pads then to the connector bracket right? Comparing to another board it seems to be that way.....yay.

The side of the plastic connector that would attach to the board has no solder point to secure it, it surely isn't strong enough the be secure solely by the traces and thin wires.... glue?
