Hi @susanrai
Check in BIOS to see if the WLAN device is enabled.
To get into BIOS, when starting the laptop press the F2 key before the laptop boots into Windows.
When in BIOS locate the Wireless category and check if it shows that WLAN is enabled.
If it is enabled in BIOS check the status of the WLAN adapter in Device Manager to see if it is installed correctly.
Go to Device Manager → Network Adapters → right click on the WLAN adapter (Intel, Qualcomm etc) → Properties → General and check what it shows in the Device Status box.
If there's a red cross next to the WLAN entry in Device Manager, right click on the entry → click on Enable and check if it now works OK
If there's a yellow exclamation mark next to the WLAN entry in Device Manager right click on the entry → click on Update drivers and follow the prompts. You need to be either online (Ethernet cable connection) or have already downloaded the relevant drivers and stored them on your PC for this to work.
To get to Device Manager in Win10/11 press the Win key + x key (both together) and click on the Device Manager link in the options box that opens.
