@bensonkasenga "no boot device found" is usually an indication of a failed HDD/SSD (we do not know what drive you have) or a corrupt OS. You can try and get into the BIOS of your computer by tapping away on the F2 key when the Dell logo appears. Once you accessed the BIOS check if your computer even recognizes a HDD.

If it does that change to boot order to a USB port and use a bootable USB drive to access your computer and your hard drive. You could try to reinstall the OS or if the BIOS does not recognize a HDD, replace it with a new drive and OS. To work on your computers storage (HDD_SSD) use the Dell Latitude E5470 Manualon page 13 and 17 for the SSD are the instructions for replacement.

It usually means the system can’t detect the hard drive or boot files. Check BIOS settings to ensure the drive is recognized, reseat or replace the SSD/HDD, and verify the boot mode. You can have a need to reinstall the windows also.
