airpods 2 fell and do not connect to phone

My left airpod fell, and it wasn’t the first time. I’ve done some research and, as the charging case detects it but when i take it out the phone doesn’t, it most definitely is internal damage, i’ve asked different ai tools and they all say that it has to do with the bluetooth chip or something like that… Honestly my coverage has expired and i’ll buy new ones, but i want to know if there’s a way to fix them at home, as i really consider the airpod completely lost, but have extreme curiosity to see if i can fix it.
