Trying to reset CMOS of Packard Bell Easynote LV

Hi everybody. I forgot the password of my BIOS and am now struggling to reset it. I removed the battery for a whole week-end but the BIOS is still password protected. I think I must shortcut 2 pins but I don't know which ones. None is labelled G2201/RTC_RST/RTCRST/JCMOS.

I would be VERY gratful to anyone who can help :-)

a cmos is maintained by the main battery and/or the coin cell. Removing both for a few minutes should drain any capacitors from maintaining it.

Shorting something is only a means to dissipate the capacitor charge quickly. If having no power to the MB for a day or more doesn't reset it, then something else is going on.

A reset should also clear the timer, so is the date/time reset?

HOWEVER, a CMOS reset by removing the battery might clear the system (BIOS) password on an older Packard Bell EasyNote LV, but it is not guaranteed to work on all laptop models, especially newer ones
