Laptop is not booting up
My asus tuf gaming f15 laptop is not booting up. I tried all the basic troubleshooting like hard reset with and without charger plugged in. But still no luck. But I see keyboard lights glowing when I open the laptop lid but only for few seconds. So, everytime I open the laptop lid the power button and keyboard light glows for few seconds and then goes off. I also removed the battery and the Ram and fitted it back. But what's weird is that when I move the magnet around the power button the keyboard and power button light glows with the laptop lid open. So, I think it's something to do with the sensor.

Yes, when I move the magnet around the power button or just above the keyboard near the power button the laptop keyboard and power button light glows for a while. I was trying to fix it through chatgpt. So, chatgpt suggested me to see if the issue is because of the faulty sensor. "Your laptop, like most modern clamshell laptops, has a hall effect sensor (or a small reed switch) that detects when the lid is closed via a magnet in the lid. When you move a magnet near the power button area, you are manually triggering this sensor.
The normal behavior is:
Magnet present (lid closed): Laptop goes to sleep or enters a soft-off state.
Magnet removed (lid open): Laptop should wake up or be ready to power on.
Your laptop is doing the opposite. It's acting as if the "lid closed" signal is permanently stuck, putting it to sleep immediately. Your external magnet is briefly "un-sticking" it, making it think the lid has been opened, which is why the lights flash on.
