My screen is not showing a thing
My laptop just doesn't show anything on the screen and it powers on, but the like that used to show that the screen is on doesn't light up anymore

@phay11592 you first will have to determine if this is a display issue or a motherboard issue. You can do that by connecting an external monitor to check if that displays correctly. If it does, you know that this is related to your LCD. It could be display itself or it could be a bad display cable as well as display connector issue. If an external monitor also does not display properly then the issue will be on your motherboard.
Of course, you also want to make sure that the no video issue is not related to a bad backlight inverter circuitry. A simple check for that would be to darken the room and turn the computer on. Then use a flashlight and angle the light at the screen on different areas. You might make out some shadows or even see the Splash screen as well as your desktop. If so, it is your backlight that has failed.
Let us know what you find out. If you want to dig deeper depending on the failure be aware of you needing some basic hand tools as well as a multimeter. You will also need to take pictures and post those with your question. That way we can try and assist as much a possible.
