On most Ducati and similar MT Distribution e-scooters (including Pro-II, Pro-II Evo, and Plus), E6 typically means a throttle or controller communication error — basically, the scooter’s control unit is not receiving correct data from the throttle or the motor hall sensors.

  • Turn off the scooter completely. Wait 1–2 minutes. Turn it back on and check if E6 disappears. Sometimes, temporary communication errors clear this way.
  • Check the Throttle Cable and Inspect the Motor Cable
  • Reset (Factory Reset if possible)

Slacken off the nuts on the motor wheel and take the wheel out. Check the cable hasn't twisted and torn. These scooters need the wheel nuts checked for torque once in a while as sometimes the axle will rotate pulling the cable and breaking wires.
