After replacing the battery in my Pixel 7a, i turn the phone back on, and there's a severe ghost touch issue (the screen reads touch that doesn't happen). I used isopropyl alcohol to clean up the phone, because the back cover popped off due to the old battery swelling severely. What can i do to stop the ghost touch?

Best guess here is that the alcohol got into the digitizer and is allowing noise on the signal lines. It should dissipate over time, but with the phone sealed up that may take a while. I hate to suggest it, but if it was mine I'd probably open it up, remove the logic board cover and go over everything with a hair dryer to try and evaporate the remaining IPA.
Like I said, if you're patient, I suspect the ghost touch will go away after a while, but it's hard to say how long that may take.
