No sound card on laptop?

What is the model number of the laptop as shown on the product information label on the bottom of the laptop?

There should be an audio control listed in Device Manager under the Sound, video and game controllers category.

If it's not listed there check if there's a category called Others and see if it's there or in Device Manager → View → Show hidden devices and check if it is listed.

If it isn't there at all, search online for Lenovo Ideapad (insert full model number) manual and click on the search result showing the link to the Lenovo support page for the laptop and when on the Lenovo home page for the laptop model, click on Drivers and software → manual Update Driver to find the Audio drivers and try installing them
