BEBAT Battery Install - iPhone XR Not Recognizing New Battery

I just replaced my iPhone XR battery following your YouTube tutorial, but I'm running into a weird issue.

I used a BEBAT brand battery, and after installing it, I got a "Battery Not Recognized" message. When I tried to check details in Settings, the screen went white/gray and the phone powered off.

I'm wondering: Would an iFixit battery prevent this error? And do you have any advice for troubleshooting?
