The March 2015 update of Apple's 11" MacBook Air features fifth generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, resulting in slightly increased performance and battery life.

More trackpad issues- MacBook Air 2015

Hi, I posted here yesterday about the click on my trackpad failing and after I resolved that issue (so I thought) by adjusting the screw sitting beneath the trackpad & increasing the tension, most of the trackpad works properly aside from the bottom left third that doesn’t register any clicks. I feel like I’ve tried everything at this point aside from replacing the trackpad itself but I’m not even sure that’s the problem because it functions otherwise perfectly. Any advice would be appreciated

I think it boils down to some more fine adjustment and to carefully look at the cable to see if any of the thin traces are deformed but I think this is unlikely. Make sure the TP is centered with equal space around all of the edges as it is easy to install them and they are ever so slightly to the left or right which maybe the reason of the no click, other than that not much I can think of. If you do remove it again give it another good cleanup where the contact points are.
