Finding Right Passenger Mirror

Hello! I have a 2022 Legacy. 2 weeks ago my daughter hit a mailbox, fortunately only the passenger mirror was hit. Last 8 of VIN are N3022351. It has heated mirror, BSD, and Power. Also on my drivers door are the buttons to remember the driver.

I contact my local dealership to try and get a replacement mirror, and that was very expensive. He said it would be PN 91036AN53A. Which has BSD, Heated, but no memory feature.

So I looked online, and found SU1321186 from RockAuto, which says it should be my mirror. Order it, get the old mirror off, install the new mirror, and realize the door connection is different. Inspect mirror closer, and realize that the mirror is missing the power movement.

At this point I looked further, and realize it had the driver memory setting (I had never noticed before). So I assume that it has to have mirror memory, despite what I was told. So I ordered that mirror, SU1321187. Get it in, connector is the same as original. So take the pad off, and this time I connected it before I removed anything else. Turn on the car, still says BSD inactive, and the power movement knob seems to not be moving anything. At this time I ran out of time, so I just put it back together.

So my questionsare:

1. Do I have to do anything to program the new mirror?
2. Is it worth doing the battery reset?
3. Does the mirror have to be in the correct position?
4. Should I order a different mirror, and if so can anyone help a guy out?
