Why my Nikon p100 dial is not working
want to repair the dial of my Nikon Coolpix P100 camera. The dial is physically movable I can rotate it without any problem but the camera doesn’t respond to it. When I turn the dial to change modes or settings, nothing shows up on the camera’s display screen. It seems like the dial isn’t being detected electronically, even though it still moves smoothly.
I’m not sure whether the issue is with the internal connection of the dial, dust or corrosion inside, or a problem with the circuit board. I’d like to know what might have caused this and how I can repair it whether it can be fixed at home by cleaning or reconnecting something, or if I need to take it to a Nikon service center..
