Theres a very good chance the carburettor is full of dried fuel. The metering jets are almost certainly plugged and not allowing any fuel through. If the motor spins and the plug sparks, but comes out bone dry you aren't getting any fuel to the engine. You need to remove the carb, strip it and clean it out, a workshop manual will run you through the procedure, either a Haynes or Clymer manual will do.

Its a pretty common thing to happen to bikes/scooters after a long layup.

There is a vacuum type valve that the gasoline from the tank connects to and from there too the carb it also has a vent tube and a vacuum tube . This tends to stick it can be exersised by the vacuum line but is not that expensive just hard to get to. If you want to sell I need a front end for mine (i_byer2@hotmail.com)

Sure the problem is the carburetor

Drain the old fuel 1

Drain the tank and empty the carburetor of any remaining fuel

Disassemble the carburetor 2.

Disconnect the fuel and air hoses

Carefully unscrew the carburetor bolts, being careful of the springs and small bolts

Thorough cleaning 3.

Use a strong carburetor cleaner (spray).

Spray all passages and small openings

If there are hard deposits, use a thin wire or pin to remove them without damaging

the passages

Check the parts 4

If they are intact, replace the gaskets. Make sure the gaskets

and fuel ports (float) are intact.

Reassemble 5.

Reassemble everything as it was without putting pressure on the gaskets

Connect the fuel and air hoses
