Why doesn’t my heater get hot

Check coolant levels. Have you checked the blend door actuator? It's typically behind the glove compartment. A quick search will pull up videos that show exactly where it is. Access that and see if changing temp selection moves it. If it does then the blend door could have broken. If it doesn't then could be bad blend door actuator or control. I can't remember if it's electrical or vacuum-powered on this vehicle.
