Diminished Battery Needs Replacement

I bought the HP Pavilion 14, core i5 with Windows 10 Home OS in 2020. In a year (conveniently right after warranty) the battery stopped supporting, it wouldn't even turn on without uninterrupted electricity. I had heard that this was a problem with this series and despite 2-3 battery replacements, within months the issue would return, so I never went to get it corrected or replaced. Cut to 2025, the condition is worse, it runs on full-time electricity but it also has this screen shaking thing the first time you turn it on. It takes a reboot (at least) to make it run without the screen issue.

What is your advice? Should I get it repaired? I don't think I will be able to exchange it for a refurbished laptop and I do not want to buy a new laptop since I am boycotting purchase that directly links to the genocide in Congo and Palestine.
