Samsung Galaxy S22+ completely dead after full storage warning
I have a Samsung Galaxy S22+ that became completely unresponsive after showing a “storage full” warning. Since then, it does not respond to anything.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
- Holding Power + Volume Down for 20–30 seconds (forced restart)
- Holding Power + Volume Up for 30 seconds (recovery attempt)
- Holding Volume Up + Volume Down + Power while connecting to a PC (Download mode attempt)
- Connecting to a PC via USB and trying different chargers/cables
The phone shows 5V, 0.5A when connected to a charger, so USB is recognized, but I’m not sure if the battery is actually receiving or accepting power. No logos, vibration, or any response on the screen.
It seems like the phone might have crashed due to full internal storage, but I’m unsure if the issue is battery, firmware, or mainboard related.
I’m looking for advice on:
- Any additional steps I can try to revive the phone.
- Whether this is likely recoverable without opening it.
- If data recovery is possible if the phone cannot boot.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
