Horizontal flickering lines at bottom of display
Hello! Our LG TV has flickering lines at the bottom
These lines only appear after the TV has been on for 10 minutes or so.
This occurs with all ports, different HDMIs, streaming services and so on
Interestingly enough, when the TV was off for a few months, the lines disappeared completely and only came back after a few weeks

@joshnorthcote we will need to know what exact model your TV is. Your attached video does not seem to work for me, sorry. Commonly horizontal lines that you describe are caused by a bad Gate driver. The reason why is works at first is because it is not heating up. Once it heats up it fails and creates those lines. Most modern drivers are of the CoG design (Chip on Glass) and really cant be replaced. However, sometimes "manipulating certain input lines can restore the image. Not easy but better then tossing it in the landfill.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. Manipulating input lines, is this something I can search for on YouTube?

@joshnorthcote check for things like a Tape-off or check for CKV lines. Remember that this is always depending on your TV and the boards that are used in it. Videos may give you an idea what you will need to deal with it. Ultimately it will help if we can see your TV's boards to make it more specific.
