Netgear GS308E PCB Troubleshooting and Potential Repair
Hi Guys,
I did a dumb thing and accidentally plugged in a PoE switch's power supply to this netgear GS308E eight port managed switch. the switch takes 12V 0.5A normally and got fried with 53V instead. I want to learn from this opportunity and try to see if i could diagnose which components is faulty and replace it. However, its a bit difficult knowing where to start and what to look for. How would you typically fix something like this that got fried with no notable damage visually? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
