iPhone screen went black after replacement

I replaced my screen and before I closed it up everything worked , touch , Face ID , and all. When I closed it up and tried to turn it on , it turned on but the screen went black . I can feel vibration to turn off but I can’t slide to power it off , nor see anything .

There are a few things to check.

  1. Try removing the screen without damaging it. Leave it connected and look to see if there are any folds or damage to the display cables.
  2. What type of screen did you get? There is a possibility you got a bad screen. It's more common than you think.

Ok, hopefully the replacement fixes the issue. In the past I have seen faulty screens caused by creased cables when closing the phone up after a repair. That's why I asked to look at the cables.
