Help finding identifying edp connector to find replacement part

I bent a few pins on the connector by accident when repairing something else, cable seems fine. It’s a 40pin (J4502/LVDS) connector. Any tips on where to find/how to search for a replacement part?

@mathdragon the official description for the connector is LVDS WtoB CON 40P 0.5MM.S/T//ACES/50398-0407B-001. That means you are looking for an ACES 50398-0407B-001 (40-position, 0.5 mm pitch) connector. Check and see if ACES still makes/has them.

Otherwise you would need to try and find a "broken" motherboard and harvest the connector from that.

Before replacing it, I would try to bend those pins back. Some small hemostats or similar might get them straight enough to use your cable again. Remember, you can't make it worse since you are already contemplating of replacing the connector itself, which is a PITA to solder.

Thank you so much! I think I broke one of the pins trying to bend it back unfortunately.
