My Gigabyte G5 KF does not power on?
hi, I have a Gigabyte G5 KF and it does not power on.
below two are upgraded and moding laptop and benchmarking it
this is story of it dieing and me trying to repair it.
I took it into a repair shop and they said powersupply wasn't working and possible cmos or bios needed to be reflashed. It worked fine with another powersupply three months before I was using my old GigabyteP55Wv4 powersupply https://youtu.be/A_niIDt3_H4 but I gave that stuff to my sister with the laptop. I haven't tried to use a replacement powersupply with more amperage or wattage. I also summited it to tronixfix but had no response.
thanks

What are the specs of the charger that you're trying to use now with the G5 KF laptop?
The laptop requires a 19.5V 150W charger and the P55Wv4 laptop charger that worked before was a 19.5V 180W, so it was suitable

What are the voltage and current specifications of the charger that doesn't work?
The motherboard won't work if the correct power is not being supplied to it.
You can't alter the board to suit a lesser power supply than what the board was designed to use.
