The Lenovo Yoga C930-13IKB is a 2-in-1 laptop that features a touchscreen, fingerprint reader, and tablet mode. The device comes with a Lenovo Active stylus pen, 65W AC adapter, 4 cell 60WHr Li-Polymer battery, and a quick start guide.

Can you replace the keyboard in this model?

I spilled some coffee on my labtop years ago and some of the keys stopped working/registering. I was wondering if this model allows me to replace the entire keyboard unit so that I can use it again without repairing each key individually since I don't think that is possible with my issue.

Hi @kp90116

The keyboard is a part of the uppercase assembly, so you have to practically completely disassemble the laptop to replace the assembly.

Here's the hardware maintenance manual that will help.

Go to p.61→p.62 Item #2 to find the part numbers for all the uppercase assemblies that can be used with the laptop. The keyboards are country specific, so you need to find the part number for the one for your exact model variant i.e. the country code is in the part description e.g. US = USA , SP = Spain etc.

Search online for the part number only, applicable to your model variant, to find suppliers that suit you best.

The part number is also usually found somewhere on the underside of the assembly if you wish to verify that you've found the correct one before ordering the part.
