In June 2017 Apple updated its 13" MacBook Air with a newer Broadwell Intel Core i5 processor, resulting in slightly increased performance and battery life.

Replaced battery, keyboard and trackpad stopped working.

I replaced the battery and it turns on, but the computer does not respond to trackpad or keyboard. If I use a usb mouse, that works. How do I fix the keyboard and trackpad?

If keyboard and trackpad are stopped to work after you're opened the case, that means you're forget to connect their cable, damaged it or connected it weakly. The only way to solve is reassemble the computer and double the check cable that leads to those parts.
