The March 2019 refresh of Apple's iPad Mini tablet, featuring an A12 Bionic SoC and an updated True Tone Retina display with Pencil support. Available in Wi-Fi and LTE with 64 and 256 GB storage options.

iPad mini stuck at 0% remaining, always rebooting.

I recently got my iPad's cracked screen fixed and power button fixed (it was sunken), when I started to get issues with the battery. I charge it to 100% one night and then it reboots on me, it says 0% remaining and it'll only work for 2-3 minutes before rebooting (the screen also starts glitching a lot, sometimes turning bright pink before rebooting) and this has been going on for a whole week and the device hasn't been functioning. Why could this be happening and how can I fix it?

If your iPad was damaged by water, the symptoms you describe may refer to charger or power IC damaged. It may be damaged voltmeter circuit or charger circuits. That case is difficult to solve without the detail diagnostics of motherboard and resoldering the broken IC packages.

It hasn't been damaged by any water..., though I have dropped it once.

Did you get the ipad fixed at a repair place? if so, i would recommend taking it back to them or another shop to have them check it out.

generally when I-pads do this, there is a slight chance it could be a battery issue, so it'd be worth having a shop connect one to see, but most likely its a motherboard issue with the power delivery IC chips. Most shops will have a tri-star tester that can read if there's a problem with any of those main components, but it may read fine and there still be a problem somewhere else on the motherboard.

often these chips will hit and end of life or burn out after so long depending on conditional things like exposure and use, but sometimes you can treat the device fine and it will just ultimately give out. Liquid damage could also be a cause. But its hard to give any definitive's off of what you're describing without looking at it and trying a few things to narrow it down.
